PASTOR
KEITH GAUGHF

Keith Gaughf became the pastor of First United Methodist Church of Brookhaven in July 2025. We are so blessed to have him as the leader of our church!

"I believe everyone should be welcome in the church regardless of who they are or where they are from or whatever is going on in their lives. It is not our job to change a person. It is our job to introduce them to Christ, who, if He so desires, can and will change their hearts and minds and lives."

UPCOMING EVENTS

Beginning October 1st at 9:30,

the FUMC Wednesday morning Bible Study group will take a deep dive into the teachings of John in a special 11-week DISCIPLE Bible Study in the Chapel. This study will go through Christmas.

All are welcome to join us. The companion study guide is recommended to accompany the weekly lessons. If you would like to participate, good used copies of the workbook will be available from Suzanne Britt, or you can order from Amazon or any other online book seller. ISBN 13 — 9780687642571

Join us on December 24th at 5pm for a special candlelight Christmas Eve service. We will celebrate the birth of Jesus by taking Holy Communion,  singing songs of praise, and singing "Silent Night" by candlelight. There will also be a handbell performance. We hope to see you at this special service!

Hop on the church bus on December 12th at 5:30pm! This time, our daytrippers will visit Johnston's Station United Methodist Church's Live Nativity and then enjoy dinner at Cypress Landing in Summit. It is $5 per person to offset the cost of fuel, and dinner is dutch treat. Everyone is welcome!
